NAPSA Board Chairperson
Mr. Owen Chimpinde joined the National Pension Scheme Authority in 2008 as an Internal Auditor and rose to the position of Head Internal Audit in 2011. In 2018 he was transferred to the Finance Directorate as Finance Manager as part of the Authority staff rotation programme. Before joining NAPSA, he had worked for Galaunia Farms Limited and KPMG.
Mr. Chimpinde holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from ESAMI and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy from Copperbelt University. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA). Further he has the following certificates- Certified Risk Analyst (CRA), Certified Enterprise Risk Manager (CERM) and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA). He has over Sixteen (16) years of Accounting, Internal and External Audit experience.
