Mrs. Mainza Simoonga Banda (Eng. Mainza), a seasoned Civil/Structural Engineer, has a 17-year career span and has worked in various public sector portfolios in the Construction Sector before joining the National Pension Scheme Authority in 2016. She joined NAPSA as a Civil Engineer and rose to the position of Project Manager before her appointment as Director Projects. Her contribution in the Infrastructure Sector is to improve the landscape through value and quality addition, by promoting innovation and the use of engineering standards.
She is a Fellow of the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ), Certified Member of the Project Management Institution (PMI) among others.
She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering and Technology in the field of Civil Engineering/Building Construction and a Master Engineer in Industrial and Civil Construction (Specialist Degree) both obtained from the Tver State Technical University. A Master of Science in Management (major in Project Management) from the Walden University and a Diploma in Urban Transportation from Lund University. Her career goal is to make a positive and lasting impact in her Nation and generation.
