Ronnie Kamanya joined the National Pension Scheme Authority (NAPSA) in 2001 as Area Manager for Kabwe before moving to Lusaka in the same capacity. He was promoted in January 2009 to the position of Claims and Contributions Manager. He has also worked as Regional Manager-South managing, planning and monitoring Contributions and Benefits payment operations in five (5) Provinces which include Lusaka, Southern, Eastern, Western and Central.

In August, 2015 he was seconded to the Department of Procurement and Stores as Senior Manager-Procurement and Stores until his promotion in May, 2016 to the position of Director Strategy and Business Performance. He is also the Managing Trustee of the NAPSA Staff Pension and a reserve trainer in Social Security Administration of the East and Central Africa Social Security Association(ECASSA) Headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya.

Ronnie is an all-round business and social security expert with experience in Social Security Management, Taxation, Procurement and Strategic Management. He has nineteen years’ work experience across the Public Sector in the fields of procurement, Taxation and Social Security Management.

He has a Master of Management in the field of Social Security, Policy Management and Administration (MM) from the Witwatersrand University in South Africa, a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a major in Economics from Copperbelt University and a Graduate Diploma in Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) from the United Kingdom. He is a member of the Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply (ZIPS).
